Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Full Movie Review

Even though the audience doesn’t expect anything original from Farhad Samji, lovers of Aneez Bazmee entertainers did want him to return to normal! And yes, there is an improvement over Pagalpanti(2019)! Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is everything you expect but on a grandeur scale than its predecessor.

Karthik Aryan is Akshay Kumar expression with Hrithik Roshan vocals. It is as if he is trying to match up to them. Despite this, he makes the formulaic hero template likable. Kiara Advani has nothing to do except for two(plus one) songs. Tabu towers over the mere silliness that the film is. During its second hour, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 suffers from almost everything that should’ve been sharp at the paper level. On this front, the performances and the technical finesse keep you invested. Having said that, there are over-the-top performances aplenty.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Full Movie Review

The technical department guards this ship. Manu Anand’s visuals are splendid. It makes very good use of the bluish tone and adds to the spookiness. For the veteran he is, Pritam doesn’t let you down. The background score from the original is retained and this plays a very crucial role in enhancing the otherwise lame climax showdown. The songs are passable.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is an(unofficial) adaptation of Geethanjali(2014), a sequel to Manichithrathazhu, which spawned Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Now, Geethanjali was a rip-off of Alone (2007) and it has been remade over 4 times, and one among them is in Hindi!! So Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is also Farhad Samji taking the audiences for granted!!
